Dr. Miller at Myopia Center of Texas has been treating my daughter with ortho-k lenses for the past year, and we’ve seen a significant improvement in her vision. The overnight lenses have been a great alternative to glasses or daytime contacts, and they work especially well with her busy school and dance schedule. We’ve had a very positive experience and appreciate the care Dr. Miller has provided. We highly recommend them!

Dr. Dina Miller is the best! She is at the forefront of cutting edge technology and research when it comes to treating eye and vison problems. Her ortho-k and myopia control treatment is nothing short of a miracle, because growing up we were always told that there’s no cure for myopia except getting lasik. Dr Miller is really knowledgeable, caring and very thorough. We have been going to her for my daughter’s myopia treatment the past two years now and can see a tangible improvement in her sight. My daughter loves Dr Miller as she is very sweet, patient and friendly- Dr Miller taught her how to put in, remove and take care of her contact lenses by herself and always has kind words and makes her feel at ease. I would 100% recommend anyone to go here, we love Dr Miller and are super grateful for her everyday!❤️

I first started taking my 11 year old son to Myopia Center of Texas a few months ago after having a very bad experience at another eye doctor, where little was explained about my son's condition and an eye product that was very expensive was pushed upon us with little explanation or care. The doctor and Sonya at Myopia Center of Texas have been a breath of fresh air!!! They are very knowledgable, thorough, and take great care and detail in all that they do. They answer my child's many questions and help calm his fears. The doctor and Sonya truly care and go over all the options with you and give their expert advice. They are truly wonderful!!!

At about 10 years old, my parents decided to put me in Ortho-K to slow down the progression of my nearsightedness. I wore them for about 8 years and it made a huge impact on my lifestyle. During my time as an Ortho-K lens wearer, Dr. Miller and the staff at Myopia Center of Texas always took great care of me at every exam! They are extremely meticulous and made my Ortho-K experience so much better! Simply by sleeping in these lenses each night was I able to go through my day without any correction as they gently reshaped my cornea at night. I didn’t have to deal with glasses or contacts during school or when playing sports. Not only that, but my prescription barely increased each year. For parents who are looking to prevent the quick rise in their children’s nearsightedness, I highly suggest considering Ortho-K, especially here with Dr. Miller and Myopia Center of Texas!

Dr Miller and her staff have been fantastic. Our whole family saw Dr Miller before she went full Myopia. Our daughter received great and thoughtful care with all the options given to us. If we hadn’t moved out of state she would still be there. Anyone and everyone should feel comfortable and in good hands with Dr Miller.

My 6-year-old daughter recently started the myopia management program at the Myopia Center of Texas, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The consultation with Sonya, the Myopia Director, was quick but thorough. She clearly explained the treatment, why it was needed, and how it would help protect Katie’s vision and long-term eye health. I left with absolute confidence that this was the right choice for my child. The communication from Dr. Miller and Sonya has been wonderful. They’ve put my mind at ease, and it’s such a relief knowing that Katie’s vision is being closely monitored by people who specialize in this.

What Happens at a consultation

The first step to protecting your child's vision

Every child’s eyes are unique, and their consultation is the key to building the right plan. During this visit, we’ll:

  • Measure axial length – to track eye growth, the most important risk factor for worsening myopia.
  • Compare prescription changes – to see how quickly your child’s vision is shifting
  • Assess risk factors – like family history, screen time, and outdoor time.
  • Design a personalized plan – tailored to your child’s needs, with proven treatment options.

Our goal is simple: to safeguard your child’s vision today while protecting their long-term eye health for the future.

Dedicated to protecting children's vision, not just correcting it.
