Dr. Miller has been actively practicing myopia management since 2011, long before the Myopia Center of Texas opened its doors in 2025. Over the years, she has pursued advanced training and certification in this evolving field and is now IACMM-certified, placing her among a small group of optometrists worldwide with advanced credentials in myopia management. This depth of experience allows her to bring both long-term perspective and current best practices to the care of every child she sees.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Miller grew up in Wichita, Kansas and remains a proud Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs fan. She lives in Round Rock with her husband and their 10-year-old son, Liam, and enjoys traveling together as a family. She has always loved animals and has shared her home with cats and dogs over the years—and currently, two guinea pigs. Dr. Miller is actively involved in Liam’s school community, serving on the PTO board and as a room parent, and values staying closely connected to the families and community she serves
